Hotels

A block of discounted rooms at the Luxembourg Mariott Hotel Alfa (Google Maps) until 16 September or the block is depleted.

Venues

VulnOptiCON will be held at two different venues.

Day 1 of the conference (23 September) will be held at the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants - Grande Salle - Place de l'Université Belval, Esch-sur-Alzette (Google Maps, building 02 on this map).

There is a bus service (two buses of 74 seats each) leaving the Marriott at 9:00 AM for the venue. Do not be late as the busses cannot wait outside the hotel or venue for any extended periods, so please convene in the hotel lobby at 8:45.

The buses will do a return service in the evening at 19:30 and the second one at 20:30 from the venue to the hotel.

Here is a train option if you miss the bus or choose to come at a different time.

Days 2 and 3 (24 and 25 September) will be held at the Mariott Hotel Alfa itself, and thus there is no bus service needed.

Travelling from the airport

Public transport is free all across Luxembourg, and you can get the T1 for free from the airport. Come outside, ignore the taxis, and turn right. You will see a tram marked Stadion (T1), and you a ride it to Gare Central. The Alpha is just across the road from there. You can also get a taxi, but the tram is clean, nice, and free. Just get on, and keep track of your stops.
